Mutual-Aid Campaign: “Droppin’ Love Bombs”

Did you know: in 2019, with unemployment at an all-time-low, that ~30% of Santa Clara County residents suffered from food insecurity? 10,000 people went unsheltered, nightly, while 1 in 3 SJSU students were forced to choose between paying for bills or their meals (Justiniano, 2018).

This isn’t to cause angst — but to inform & inspire action. The existing housing crisis & exorbitant cost of living in CA is dramatically exacerbated by the current economic climate; with unemployment at 15% (Politico, 5/8/20) in the most destructive pandemic of our lifetime without a clear end.

We’ve inspired — the time is NOW to take ACTION — We ask our you, fellow citizen, to stand with us & support our organization to grow our capacity to positively change our world.

Help us to continue building systems of support for our community members in need of some extra love; with the help of our community & generous sponsors, we raised $2,500 for our 1st event, dropping “Love Bombs” — kits brimming with medicinal, nutritional & emotional support to Bay Area residents in need, and are currently raising $ to drop another!
